When you want a Christmas tree, you need to buy it from somewhere. In the years of small-town America, you didn't just pop in at your local big-box store. Instead, you stopped at the locally-owned business, such as this tree stand. I still remember when tree stands like this existed in the town where I lived as a kid. It even had one of those wooden shelters for the employees.
My tree lot needs repaired. The garland/light/bell piece has disconnected from the main piece (hot glue), and I think there is a plastic jewel missing from the star at the top of the shelter.
