Target Village - The Bedford Falls Church

This church is seen during the World War II montage, where they talk about Victory in Europe and Victory in Japan days. It is where the villagers "wept and prayed."

The side of the box reads, "Many of the parishioners of this church have lived in Bedford (sic) their whole lives. Bedford Falls is the kind of community where everyone has known everyone else forever - went to kindergarten together, graduated together, and all worshiped together. The church was a place to mature that sense of community - potluck dinners on Thursdays and bake sales to benefit the choir. It was also a place to gather together and support each other during the war. Happy or sad occasions, the residents of Bedford Falls have relied on this old building for strength and guidance."
